This page explains what personal data is handled when you contact us or book a stay, who handles it, why, and what rights you have.
Two companies are involved. Zanero Group s.r.o., Company ID 10709169, Na Folimance 2155/15, 120 00 Prague 2, Czech Republic, runs the website, handles enquiries, bookings and payments and is the controller of that data under the GDPR. Deer Management Co., Ltd., registration number 0845569011415, 11/48 Moo 4, Koh Phangan, Surat Thani 84280, Thailand, provides the accommodation and is a separate controller of the data it needs for your stay, under Thai law (the Personal Data Protection Act). Both can be reached at info@deervillas.com.
From the contact form and from bookings: your name, e-mail, phone number, preferred dates, the number of guests and what you write to us, including a note about your dog. For a confirmed stay also the dates, the price, the payment record and billing details if you ask for an invoice. On arrival the provider records the passport details of foreign guests, as Thai immigration law requires.
To answer your enquiry and to prepare and provide the stay you booked (performance of a contract), to keep accounts and meet tax and immigration obligations (legal duty), and to protect our rights in the event of a dispute or damage (legitimate interest).
Zanero Group s.r.o. passes the name, dates, number of guests, contact details and any note needed to receive you to Deer Management Co., Ltd. in Thailand, which uses them to provide the stay. Thailand is outside the European Union and the transfer is based on the fact that it is necessary for the performance of your contract. Other recipients are only those who help run the service: the web hosting and e-mail provider, the payment gateway when you pay by card, and the accountant. Your data is not sold and is not passed to anyone else for their own marketing.
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to one year. Data about a stay is kept for the duration of the contract and then for as long as the law requires, in particular accounting records for 10 years in the Czech Republic and immigration records for the period required in Thailand.
You can ask for access to your data, for correction or erasure, for restriction of processing or for portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to info@deervillas.com; the request is passed to whichever company holds the data. You can also complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz) and, for the provider, to the Thai Personal Data Protection Committee.
The website uses only technically necessary cookies, which keep your chosen language and the session while you fill in a form. No advertising or tracking cookies are used, so there is nothing to consent to.
